Stop suffering through your future: How the Double I® method strengthens your intuition to shape your future

For a long time, we have been taught to trust reason and to be wary of intuition. Yet, the two are not opposites — they complement each other. Intuition is not a mystical gift reserved for a privileged few: it is a form of intelligence, just like logical or emotional intelligence. And like any intelligence, it can be strengthened.

This is the starting premise of Double I®, a method born from thirteen years of research and built around an educational tool consisting of 36 cards. These 36 cards are used to help you create the future you aspire to. Unlike a psychic reading, which announces a fixed destiny, Double I starts from the principle that there is no single written path: several futures are possible, and your conscious choices as well as your actions in the present moment help shape the one you will live. The tool predicts nothing: it asks the right question and enters into resonance with your subconscious to bring out your own answers. It thus helps you to see more clearly within yourself to choose your path in full consciousness and work on your three pillars of fulfillment.

However, having the freedom to choose your future does not mean that we all start from the same starting line. As the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu pointed out, each of us comes into the world with an inherited baggage: economic, social, or cultural capital. One could extend this observation to a more subtle, or even karmic or biological capital — from our family of origin to our height, down to the color of our eyes. We do not always feel we have chosen these starting cards, and yet, they constitute the framework in which we incarnate.

But this is not a fatality. Understanding and accepting this initial capital is precisely the way to be free of it. The Double I method invites you to integrate and rework this part of memory and subconscious so that you no longer suffer from it, but rather use it as a springboard to move forward and actively create the future of your dreams. You will never find an invitation to defeatism there, but a powerful call to conscious action.

But Double I is not limited to a deck of cards. It is a complete method, organized around three pillars that we call the 3Ps: Personal, Private, Professional. The idea is simple: you cannot strengthen your intuition in only one area of your life and expect the rest to follow. Balance is built on all three fronts at once.

The Personal: understanding what moves through you

This first pillar touches on self-knowledge — and in particular everything related to energy, vibrations, and frequencies. These are words we encounter everywhere on social media, often emptied of their meaning through being used to sell anything and everything. Double I takes the opposite approach: explaining these notions with rigor rather than serving them up as marketing mush.

Concretely, this means understanding how our beliefs steer what we notice, what we seek, and therefore what we end up creating in our reality. This is not magic: it is a mechanism of attention. A person convinced that "everything goes wrong for them" will, without realizing it, interpret every setback as confirmation — and act defensively, which effectively attracts more setbacks. Understanding universal laws, in the spirit of Double I, is not about trying to manipulate the universe: it is learning to spot these mechanisms within yourself to consciously target your thoughts, instead of suffering through them.

Exercise to try: for a week, each evening write down a belief that was active during your day ("I knew this was going to go badly," "I will never manage to do this"). Then ask yourself: where does this belief come from, and what did it make you do — or not do — that day? That is often where the real work lies: in the hidden link between belief and behavior.

The Private: the dynamic with others

The second pillar concerns everything related to relationships — partners, family, loved ones. Double I dedicates full courses to communication: how to make yourself understood, how to truly hear the other person, and mediation techniques to defuse tensions before they turn toxic.

A couple is defined not by the absence of disagreements, but by the ability to navigate them without losing themselves. Most conflicts do not come from what was said, but from what each person heard — and this is precisely what intuition, when well-trained, allows you to perceive before words spin out of control.

Exercise to try: during your next disagreement with a loved one, before responding, rephrase what you just heard in your own words ("if I understand correctly, you are frustrated because..."), and ask the other person if that is right. This simple pause almost always changes the tone of the conversation.

The Professional: your mission, in the broad sense

The third pillar goes beyond the strict scope of a job. It is about your professional mission, of course, but also your mission on earth — what you bring to others, in the noble sense of the term. A mother who does not work but raises her children is also exercising a mission in its own right: it is her ikigai, just as much as that of an entrepreneur or a therapist.

Exercise to try: Take a sheet of paper and draw three columns.

1. In the first column, write down everything you love to do (your passions, what naturally energizes you without effort).

2. In the second column, note what you know how to do with ease (your skills, your know-how, or your natural talent).

3. In the third column, ask yourself: how can I monetize this intersection and make a living from it? What needs does this satisfy for others, and what unique value can you pass on?

Where your talents, your impulses, and this opportunity for transmission meet, you will often find a mission much broader than just your professional label.

A method, not a collection of tools

This is what distinguishes Double I: it is not a deck of cards accompanied by a few pieces of personal development advice. It is a structured method where the Personal, Private, and Professional are trained together, because an intuition that works in only one area of your life remains an incomplete intuition.
